Meet the Doctors

Since graduating from University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 1998, Dr. Dawlat Hasso has had one philosophy in her professional career: to raise her patients’ dental health to the same high level as she would her immediate family.

At Pinnacle Dental Group, Dr. Hasso continues to strive for excellence when treating patients. She is committed to continuing her own education and regularly participates in a variety of dental trainings to increase her knowledge and ability in areas such as the Pinhole Surgical Technique and Teeth Xpress.

Dr. Hasso completed advanced general residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She also completed an internship in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at Detroit Receiving Hospital in Detroit, MI. Following that, she finished a fellowship in Periodontics and Implantology at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She later finished a three year Periodontal and Implantology specialty program at the NYU/VA Hospital in Manhattan, NY. Dr. Hasso has also earned hundreds of continuous education learning credits from the highly-respected Misch Implant Institute, Kois Center, and the Pankey Institute.

Dr. Hasso is married with three wonderful children. She enjoys reading, traveling, and playing with her son’s dog, Theo.

Dr. Sarah Al Naimi has been helping people put their best smile forward for the past 12 years.

Recognized as a leader in the field, Dr. Al Naimi is best known for her active role in the dental community and the high level of dental care she provides to her patients. She graduated from the University of Baghdad in 2009 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Minnesota in 2021.

Following that, Dr. Al Naimi was a volunteer in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery department at the University of Michigan Health Systems where she received the “Making a Difference” award for her community involvement and quality dental work. In her spare-time she enjoys reading and going on walks with her mother.

Dr. Emad Younis is a highly accomplished and dedicated Prosthodontist with a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in the field of dentistry. His educational journey includes earning a Master of Science in Prosthodontics / Digital Dentures and a Certificate in Prosthodontics from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he specialized in advanced prosthodontic techniques and digital dentures.

With a strong foundation in dental surgery from the University of Benghazi, Libya, and an exceptional GPA of 3.8, he has continued to excel in his career. Dr. Younis’s professional path has been marked by a commitment to excellence, evident in his roles as a part-time faculty member at Detroit Mercy Dental School and as a prosthodontist at a private clinic in Michigan, where he specializes in planning and restoring Full Arch implant cases, cosmetic dentistry, including veneers, and implant-supported overdentures.

Throughout his career, Dr. Younis has demonstrated a profound understanding of complex dental cases, full mouth rehabilitation, and cosmetic dentistry, making him a trusted resource for patients seeking comprehensive oral care and aesthetic enhancements. His dedication to the field of dentistry, combined with his strong educational background, sets him apart as a practitioner who places the health, well-being, and aesthetic satisfaction of his patients at the forefront of his practice. Dr. Emad Younis’s expertise and commitment make him an asset to the dental community.

Dr. Karan Handa is a skilled and compassionate general dentist with over a decade of clinical experience, including advanced training in prosthodontics and implantology. He is passionate about restoring smiles through full-mouth rehabilitation, dental implants, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Handa specializes in esthetic smile design, crown and bridge work, surgical extractions, dentures, and All-on-X implant restorations. He also has extensive experience with both digital and analog workflows for treatment planning and restorative care. Dr. Handa earned his dental degrees from the University of Manitoba and SGRD Dental College, and previously served as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba. He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Dr. Dawoud earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with High Distinction from the University of Michigan–Dearborn and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with special interests in restorative dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics.

Outside of dentistry, he enjoys traveling, fitness, movies, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new cultures and cuisines.

Dr. Dawoud looks forward to building lasting relationships with his patients and helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles.
